We create documentary-driven films, event stories, podcasts and original formats for organisations that have something worth saying.
We don’t believe every story should become the same kind of production. Sometimes it becomes a documentary. Sometimes an event story. Sometimes a podcast. The format follows the story. Not the other way around.

Meet the Founder
Iman de Vries-Maarse is a writer, director and founder of Cooltuur.
With a background in journalism, television and filmmaking, he specialises in turning complex subjects into stories that people actually want to watch or listen to.
Every production starts with the story. From there, Iman brings together the right directors, cinematographers, editors, composers and other specialists to build the team each project needs.
Alongside Cooltuur, he founded Indiana Midas Pictures, an independent production label where he develops original fiction and documentary projects for an international audience.
